What Pin Press Is
Pin Press is a personal content creation and publishing tool that generates Pinterest pin images and publishes them to Pinterest via the official Pinterest API. It is operated solely by Higher Self Hub for managing content on its own Pinterest accounts.
Data We Collect
Pin Press does not collect, store, or process personal data from any third party. The only data accessed is from the authenticated Pinterest account owner (Higher Self Hub) through the official Pinterest OAuth 2.0 authorization flow.
Pinterest API Data
Pin Press accesses the following data from Pinterest via authorized API calls:
- Board names and IDs — used to assign pins to the correct boards. Board data is cached locally for up to 10 minutes and is not shared with any third party.
- Pin creation — Pin Press creates pins (images, titles, descriptions, links) on behalf of the authenticated account owner, who explicitly selects and approves each pin before publishing.
No Pinterest user data is stored permanently, shared, sold, or transmitted to any third party.
Authentication
Pin Press uses Pinterest’s OAuth 2.0 authorization flow. Access tokens are stored locally on the account owner’s device and are never transmitted to external servers. Login credentials are never collected or solicited.
Third-Party Services
Pin Press does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. No cookies are set for tracking purposes.
Children’s Privacy
Pin Press is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13.
